Reviews of the Drag History Tour Philadelphia
Totally Badass
-Kate
Our tour guide Amanda was so impressive. She was a wonderful, knowledgeable storyteller. Her passion for history made it all come alive and the information shared was incredible, stories that NEED to be heard. Each stop she chose had meaning and the time on the tour went by so quickly. Amanda answered our questions, made sure we were comfortable and even gave us recommendations for lunch spots after the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, anyone passionate about social justice, anyone who wants to learn more about Philadelphia, and anyone who wants to enjoy an adventure in the city. I feel fortunate I now know the history the books and other guides do not tell.
An Absolute Must

“Not your usual walking tour -- just many notches above. Joey was the ultimate guide: enthusiastic, articulate, well-read... and humorous, to boot. Would happily walk with him again and again. A small (9) group of interesting people from diverse backgrounds made for equally interesting questions/contributions. An absolute must while in Philadelphia.”
We came to celebrate Women’s History Month
He is authentically himself and you can feel the love through the stories he tells. So much history along with a beautiful scenic walk. The history was explained in such a fun yet informative manner that made me actually remember, in detail, what was said. I came with a huge group of women to celebrate Women’s History Month and amongst all the things we did, this was by far my favorite.
